Festivals und Ausstellungen

  • Festivals

Black and white shot of a huge, lizard-like monster in front of a burning city, smoke and debris in the foreground, skyscrapers visible in the background.

The Kinemathek presents the historical sections of the Berlin International Film Festival: Berlinale Classics and the Retrospective. Our film-heritage festival, Film Restored, takes place every year in the autumn.

  • Exhibitions

Exhibition space with illuminated running track and film projections, portraits of women in colour and black and white, cinematic atmosphere with mirrors.

Due to our relocation to the E-Werk, we are currently not presenting any exhibitions. Here you can find an overview of our exhibitions up to October 2024.
