Description | Luggage 8 wardrobe trunks, 5 steamer trunks, 4 hat trunks, 3 hat boxes, 1 make-up box. The three large gray wardrobe trunks were produced by the Albert Rosenhain company in the early 30s, with vulcanized fiber plates on the outside and silk damask on the inside. They contain one section of drawers and a portion with a clothes rail to hang garments. The wardrobe box on the left rear with the initials "M.D." below a red circle served as a shoe chest, with 30 drawers dedicated solely to holding shoes. The yellow vulcanized fiber trunks were produced later and are significantly more simply appointed. The same applies to the steamer trunk with a plywood body, clad in zinc plate on the inside and lined with paper on the inside. The hat trunks are made of wood, glossy leather and canvas and were produced in the 30s, 40s and 60s respectively. |
