Following the custom of german animated film pioneer Lotte Reiniger (1899-1981) and other artists in the field, our animation experts will guide you in creating your own imaginative story. For your inspiration, the workshop will take you through the history of selected design techniques for animated films. Afterwards you will animate your own story in the style of the silhouette film.

For silhouette films, the silhouette of your own crafted figures are brought to life by stop motion technique on a glas surface which is illuminated from below. The images are then assemled into an animated film with the use of digital techniques. The workshop is led by professional animation artists.
