North by Northwest
Si̇nema Transtopia
Advertising exec Roger Thornhill is kidnapped one day by armed men who believe he is CIA agent George Kaplan. Thornhill manages to escape and, together with the mysterious Eve Kendell, becomes caught up in one of the most daring chases in film history. ‘North by Northwest’ is rightly considered a prime example of all modern action films, and Cary Grant, as the smart, impeccably dressed Roger Thornhill, who is always ready with a quick-witted riposte, can rightly be seen as a forerunner of James Bond.
