In English
Two negatives were produced for ‘Regina, or the Sins of the Father’ – one for international distribution and one for the German market, both of which have been lost. The only surviving element from the German version is a 16mm reduction print with German intertitles. Two 35mm nitrate prints of the international version still exist, one with Yugoslavian and one with Czech intertitles. The Deutsche Kinemathek restoration is based on those two nitrate prints.
