G 2015, directed by Lutz Dammbeck, 163 min, rated: 12

Joachim Fuchsberger, one of the great entertainers of West German television, called Germany “a crazy, psychologically disturbed nation”. Therapy methods from US psychiatry were adapted for his successful early 1960s’ TV show, ‘Nur nicht nervös werden’ (Whatever You Do, Don’t Get Nervous). This hit a nerve in post-war German society. More than fifty years later, Lutz Dammbeck made remarkable associative connections between madness and methods, games and revolution, science, and conspiracies.
