Educational Programs

The Deutsche Kinemathek offers a wide range of educational programs on film and its collections.

Join our city tours to explore different Berlin neighborhoods while learning about filming locations and the history of Berlin as a film city. For children and adults, we also offer creative workshops on topics such as cut-out animation or silhouette films. On select dates, we host “Trickfilm-Samstag” in collaboration with our partners.

In film and workshop talks, we delve into cinematic crafts and societal issues. Upon request, we organize special introductions and offer professional groups a behind-the-scenes look at the Kinemathek.
