After the First World War, emancipated women still looked like they did in the Empire: squeezed into laced dresses, their hair piled up and crowned by big hats. But a little later the "new" woman also became visible and film stars like Elisabeth Bergner manifested their style – with a short hair and a straight dress.
In cooperation with the Berlinische Galerie, we invite you to a panel discussion as part of the exhibition "Modern Cinema".
Guests: Annette Dorgerloh (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Annelie Lütgens (Berlinische Galerie) and Nils Warnecke (Deutsche Kinemathek)
Event room, 4th floor / Admission free
