Alongside our regular special exhibitions, we offer theme-specific tours, workshops, as well as film screenings and film talks.
Our educational offers can be tailored to meet the special needs of your group.

Overview Tours
During the guided tours through the special exhibition, our guides provide insight into the fascinating history of the posters presented and the objects from the salt mine, their recovery and restoration - an exciting journey from the mining tunnels in Grasleben to the museum exhibition in Berlin. On the basis of archetypal exhibits and numerous pieces of background information, the participants will receive well-grounded insight into an extraordinary history, discover unique objects as well as information about lost films and learn about the artistic and film history significance of advertising art.

School classes 45/65 €, plus 2 € admission per person
A contingent of free tours will be made available for school classes. The tours are free of charge with a valid ticket for admission to the museum (for as long as supplies last).
Exclusively for Academics and Professionals
The Kinemathek offers customized expert talks for academics and professionals in conjunction with visits to the exhibit. The modularly constructed program is created in accordance with the interests of the group and can be composed of the following elements:
Introduction to the exhibition concept and origin (curator)
Introduction to the collection and restoration history (archivist)
Followed by:
Independent viewing of the exhibition (costs: admission to the exhibition)
Tour of the exhibition (costs: tour fee, entrance to the exhibition is free of charge)
The introduction and special conditions are only available for professional groups and are exclusively free of charge in conjunction with a (paid) admission to the exhibition or when booking a tour.

Yes, you can review our events calendar for dates. Please note that our public tours and events are primarily held in German.
In which languages are tours offered?
Tours are offered in German and English. For tours in English we change an extra 10 € fee.
