General Information

The Archive for Costume and Set Design of the Deutsche Kinemathek begins with drawings from the early 1920s and continues with a wide assortment of objects up into the present. The archive is indexed by artist and, in addition to many textile items, contains more than several thousand drawings. The collection has not been indexed in the Deutsche Kinemathek’s databank and is only partially accessible.

For exhibitions at public institutions, the fee for loans is the price of a large-format slide.

For publications, the fee is also that of a large-format slide. If a work is copyrighted, a fee may also have to be paid to the artist.
